Waterproof vs weatherproof stickers
People often use waterproof, weatherproof and water-resistant interchangeably, but they aren't the same. Waterproof stickers are designed to withstand direct contact with water, while weatherproof stickers are made to handle outdoor conditions like rain, sunlight, and changing temperatures.
Most waterproof stickers are made from vinyl because it naturally resists moisture. A protective laminate helps reduce scratches and slows fading from UV exposure.
Where can waterproof stickers be used?

Do waterproof stickers fade?
All printed products gradually fade in constant sunlight, but a protective laminate acts like sunscreen for the print, helping colours stay vibrant for much longer.
Will waterproof stickers peel, and what surfaces should I avoid?
They bond best to smooth surfaces like glass, metal and most plastics. Rough textures, dust, grease and silicone-coated materials reduce contact with the adhesive and are the most common reasons stickers lift over time. When it’s time, they can be removed with little to no residue.
Are waterproof stickers better than paper stickers?
If your sticker will get wet, be handled frequently, or spend time outdoors, absolutely. Paper stickers often fail because the paper fibres absorb moisture, swell and gradually weaken the adhesive.
