What are clear stickers?
Clear stickers blend into the surface thanks to ultra-transparent vinyl, letting your design stand out.
Use highly opaque (non-see-thru) white ink behind colours to add depth to your stickers. Where no white ink is, the colours printed onto the clear material appear translucent (see-thru).
Clear stickers are waterproof, UV-resistant, and scratch-proof.
A protective laminate over the printed layer makes these stickers suitable for use outside.
Clear stickers get cut digitally in any shape around your design.
You can choose any size from 2cm-70cm wide, up to 500cm long for your stickers
Clear stickers are backed with medium-strength adhesive, so they will stick to most surfaces.
These stickers will also not leave much glue residue behind when you want to remove them.
All clear stickers are finished with a clear gloss over-laminate that protects the printed layer and keeps your stickers looking shiny.

When should you choose clear stickers?
Clear stickers work best when you want the object itself to stay visible, rather than covering a bottle, jar, or window with a solid block of colour. That's why skincare brands, candle makers, and coffee roasters reach for them.
They're not always the right call. Pastels and small text can look washed out with nothing opaque behind them. If your design leans on pale colours or fine detail, white vinyl will hold its shape better.

How printing on clear vinyl works
There's no background behind the print, so every colour interacts with whatever sits underneath it. The same design will look different on glass, plastic, or metal.
White ink gives you control over this. Used selectively, it keeps a logo solid while the rest of the design stays transparent. It's the most common thing we catch at proofing, so you'll see it rendered on your surface before anything prints.
Swapping a look without a redesign
Because there's no background to reprint, clear stickers are a fast way to change how a product looks without touching the packaging. A candle brand can go from a wordmark to a full seasonal design and keep the same jar.
If you're testing a rebrand or running a short print run, that's often the real reason to choose clear over a new label.
FAQs
Can you apply clear stickers to coloured packaging?
Yes. The packaging colour shows through and affects how your printed colours look, especially lighter shades. If something needs to stay bright regardless of what's underneath, use white ink to separate it from the background.
Which designs work best on transparent vinyl?
Bold logos, simple illustrations and minimal typography. Designs that deliberately leave parts of the sticker unprinted tend to look more striking than ones that try to fill the whole space, since that's where the transparency actually does something.
Do clear stickers work on glass?
Yes, glass is one of the most popular surfaces for them. The transparency makes the design blend into the material, so it looks more like you've printed directly onto the glass than stuck a label on it.
How should I prepare artwork for clear stickers?
Use a transparent background, not a white one. We'll print a white background too, so it won't look see-through once you apply it. A transparent PNG is the safest format. JPG, PDF and SVG also work, as long as you actually remove the background layer instead of just colouring it white.
