Design tips for glitter stickers
Designing custom glitter stickers works just like regular vinyl, but you get one extra perk: you control where the sparkle shows through.
1. Decide where you want glitter
Leave areas unprinted for full sparkle or ask for white ink behind parts you want solid.
Example: glitter background with a solid logo, or glitter text on a solid badge.
2. Use bold colors
Strong colors pop best on glitter vinyl. Light pastels can look see-through unless we print white ink underneath.
Tip: deep pinks, navy, and black always look sharp.
3. Keep text thick and simple
The glitter texture can blur tiny fonts, so stick to bold lettering or add a thin white outline for clarity.
4. Add borders for contrast
A white or black edge (about 1 mm) helps your design stand out on any surface, especially for merch or giveaways.
5. Think about placement
- Packaging: solid logo, glitter edges
